Service & Support Engineer
Service & Support Engineer (Hydraulic and Mechanical)

As a Service & Support Engineer, you will work with our Subsea & Special Purpose products, which include advanced deck machinery solutions for offshore and naval vessels. The products are hydraulically (high pressure) or electrically driven. Our Control System is inhouse made, based on Siemens S7 PLC and Qt-based Graphical User Interface (GUI).
Responsibilities

Work both at the office providing technical support and out in the field, depending on the needs of our customers and projects.

Handle technical support requests and perform service work on our systems.

Travel to various locations worldwide to perform service jobs, commissionings and upgrades on our sailing fleet.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, provide solutions, and remote support to technical issues.

Support our Customers, Field Service Engineers and Spare Parts Coordinators with technical information and documentation.

Contribute to improvements of the technical support processes.
Qualifications and experience
-
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications.

Willingness to travel extensively worldwide.

Fluent spoken and written English.

Experience in hydraulic systems is considered as an advantage.

Previous hands-on experience is considered as an advantage.

Previous experience in customer support role is considered as an advantage.
