- You have minimum 2 years of work experience in KYC / CDD and /or TM investigations preferably in reputable financial services organizations,
- You have understanding of Risk Based Approach,
- You have skills in conducting CDD reviews (including High risk) and /or TM investigations, including data and transaction analysis, research, and documentation,
- You developed understanding of the global financial system and banking as well as the regulatory environment and the impacts of non-compliance,
- You have understanding of how money laundering, terrorist financing and tax evasion are executed, why, the differences between them and their impacts,
- You have excellent analytical skills,
- You are able to clearly and succinctly express ideas, facts and opinions both in speaking and writing, supported by appropriate tools,
- You are able to identify problems, analyze key information and make connections, in order to find appropriate solutions,
- You show openness to change and altering behaviors in order to work effectively when faced with new information, a changing situation and/or environment,
- You are fluent in English, reading and writing.
You'll get extra points for
- Proof experience in CDD reviews / alert investigations on a retroactive review of activity,
- Professional certification (CAMS, CFE, ICA or equivalent).
Your responsibilities:
- Risk-based reviews and investigations on CDD files and /or transaction monitoring alerts and cases,
- Performing ongoing QC reviews in accordance with Global and Local policies and procedures; acting as a signatory in the Know Your Customer process where applicable,
- Providing feedback and advice to the analysts based on KYC guidance and policy,
- Contributing to quality improvement of the analysts by organizing best practice sessions with less experienced colleagues, most common mistakes sessions, training sessions and the development of training materials,
- Actively participate in quality related meetings, hold calibration sessions within QC to ensure consistent approach,
- Driving process optimization within the remediation area by identifying gaps or improvements in the AML process.
Information about the squad
You’ll be a part of Remediation Operations team. The Remediation (Lookback) Analyst offers subject matter expertise to the complete CDD and TM value chain for multiple ING business lines in multiple locations. The focus of the role is in supporting all CDD and TM Remediation Funnel processes when and where needed. The Remediation Analyst will be primarily responsible for files review and alert investigation on a retroactive perspective of activity, known as Lookback. Apart from the core activities Analysts are often involved in additional responsibilities such as update of procedures, quality check of colleagues’ work, trainings, or administrative tasks.
