- Have an experience in refining and designing features. At least 3-year technical design knowledge with proven experience in transferring reference architectures to solution architectures,
- Have an excellent knowledge of current technologies,
- Have proven track record in reducing complexity of delivering complex IT initiatives across multiple teams,
- Demonstrates mastery in writing skills – understandable and easy to read features,
- Are a good presenter who can convey stories well between business and IT stakeholders.
English level: B2/C1

Your responsibilities:
Translate business requirements into features and stories by using IT & Business knowledge:
- You are able to translate new product / services needs into required IT solutions and requirements,
- You think and act globally and grasp business opportunities from new technology solutions,
- You highlight correlation and dependencies between squads within different parts of the organization.
Responsible for the solution design to show what is needed and how the End-to-End solution will work:
- This involves creating a blueprint or high-level overview of the proposed solution, outlining the architecture, components, modules, and interfaces of the system,
- You are responsible for the refinement in a detailed design with sufficient granularity for the development team to implement. Eg, you conduct, review and maintain on topics as software architecture, workflows, design records, proof of concepts, technical documentation,
- During the development phase, you technical guidance and support to the development team,
- You play a crucial role in evaluating and selecting technologies and tools. You assess various options and make recommendations based on factors such as scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure features delivery (Planning, coordination, dependencies management):
- You are and feel technical responsible for the end-to-end integration and realization of the IT work (across squads and/or Tribes). You oversee sprints and coordinate the work across the whole chain,
- You identify (and manage) risks and potential issues and offer improvements across Tribes,
- You identify and manage dependencies for features and epics across different Tribes.

You will be part of a Chapter of Feature Engineers working for the Corporate Technology Area within Tech Group Services. Corporate Technology delivers unified and secure Tech capabilities and services empowering our global ING business partners to deliver and improve the digital experience. (e.g. Enterprise & Document Content Services, Global HR, Facility Management, Knowledge & Service management and more). The open position has a focus on Enterprise Content Service. Enabling superior and compliant digital journeys via scalable content & automation services
Information about the technology:
You will have opportunity to design and create the IT solutions based on ING Private Cloud. Enterprise Content Services consists of a set of products either off-the-shelf or in-house-built. The architecture of those is primarily based on scalable microservices and supported by various underlying platforms. In majority the Java language with Spring framework is used together with ELK stack.
The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Solution Architect III".
