Food Safety Specialist

Location: Lodz, PL, 94-406

• Supported the implementation, development, and verification of the HACCP system and PRP programs and adaptation to global and regional requirements of the Barry Callebaut group, GFSI, and customer standards.
• Support in coordinating customer audits and third-party audits.
• Conducting problem-solving analysis for customer complaints and food safety incidents.
• Unblocking products in the SAP system and changing their purpose based on the decision.
• Coordinating and participating in operational audits.
• Conducting corrective actions and verifying their effectiveness.
• Conducting employee training related to food safety.
• Conducting trend analyses and statistical data in the food safety development process.
• Updating the list of chemicals present in the plant and completing the required documents.
• Developing cleaning schedules for production and storage equipment, not covered by schedules for external cleaning companies.
• Conducting food defense audits.
• Coordinating food safety observations reporting programs.
• Updating food safety documentation in the DMS system.
• Participating in sensory tests in case of qualification to the sensory testing program.
• Replacing the Food Safety Manager or other QA employees to ensure continuity of business needs.
• Participating in the HACCP team meetings and updating HACCP system documentation.
• Participating in the Food Defense team meetings and updating system documentation.
• Updating Food Fraud system documentation.
• Conducting internal audits.
• Coordinating the work of the pest control company and defining nonconformities.

• Higher degree preferred: biology, microbiology, biotechnology, food technology
• Computer operation; Google, SAP, MS Office
• Communicative English
• Knowledge of GMP/GHP/HACCP rules
• Experiences in HACCP/GMP/GHP rules in the food industry
• Good communication, and time management skills.
• Good organizer.
