In the area of accounting, we work together with various departments on an interdisciplinary basis and transfer business processes into company figures for external reporting in accordance with IFRS. We are one for all. All for one" team in which solution orientation, analytical thinking, enthusiasm paired with a hands-on mentality are in the foreground. What will the daily duties consist of:
Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements in accordance with IFRS
Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
Independent development of accounting concepts for business-related transactions and accounting assessment of contracts in accordance with IFRS and HGB
Processing of special accounting topics and participation in projects and working groups
Independent development and implementation of digitization projects and optimization of processes in finance
Responsible and independent preparation of decision-making and information documents for internal committees
Technical contact person for auditors, foreign subsidiaries, and the TRATON and VW Group
What do you need to prove yourself in this position?
Completed studies with a focus on business administration or comparable training
At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of auditing or financial accounting
Very good knowledge of German and English
Sound knowledge of accounting in accordance with IFRS and HGB
Very good SAP FI/CO and MS Office skills, especially MS Excel (basic knowledge of Excel Power Query and/or Excel Power Automate would be desirable)
Very good project management and independent way of working, assertiveness, ability to work in a team and initiative
Strong numerical comprehension and very good analytical thinking skills
Willingness to travel to Munich for a 3-month implementation
