About the Employer:

A global energy leader is looking for a Field Service Engineer join to the service unit, which plays a key role in providing comprehensive support for Generator Circuit Breaker (GCB) and Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS) systems.
The company is known for its products and solutions for Digital Systems & Services, Green Energy & Mobility as well as Connective Industries.

Daily work includes:

leading multicultural construction sites worldwide for gas-insulated switchgear systems with voltage levels ranging from 110KV to 550KV,
providing successful maintenance, and repairs while meeting contractual deadlines and complying with local legal requirements,
maintaining work quality through quality control and assessing the skills of local support staff,
conducting on-site product training support,
evaluating and minimizing risks,
coordinating labor and providing guidance,
managing resource costs and regularly reporting to project management
actively participating in process improvements and taking proactive measures to enhance on-site efficiency.

Skills You need to thrive:

completed apprenticeship in metal construction, electrical, or automotive industry,
essential knowledge of electrical engineering; additional electrical training is advantageous,
2 years of experience in a similar position is an advantage,
strong proficiency in German and good English skills, at least at a B2 level,
willingness to undertake national and international assignments, with up to 80% travel,
flexibility, resilience, and well-developed communication skills,
delivering practical and unconventional problem-solving with a strong commitment to quality and safety standards.
