Ensure proper functioning of the Customer Service; closely cooperate with Sales, Marketing, D&T and SSC.

PURPOSE OF POSITION
Ensure proper functioning of the Customer Service; closely cooperate with Sales, Marketing, D&T and SSC.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
- Develop a culture of intense focus to the Customer,
- Effective & productive management of medium size teams,
- Develop & maintain skills and enthusiasm inside the team,
- Train and develop Customer Service Coordinators to maintain staff levels and to suit the needs of business,
- Responsible for training documentation,
- Perform regular appraisals for staff,
- Organise staff meetings and deal with any actions that arise,
- Support sales team with supply chain approach to Customers,
- Drives performance improvement,
- Drives & control business rules implementation in an overall supply chain interest,
- Responsible for reporting on performance of all CS coordinators and recommendation of useful system & processes developments and working with the management team to improve this,
CORE COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a customer services environment,
- Experience supporting Export / RCP customers is required (a minimum of 2 years),
- Happy to work in a busy environment,
- Must be very open minded, enthusiastic, confident, assertive and committed,
- Excellent communicator and organiser,
- Extremely professional and helpful approach at all times,
- Real desire to make impact in a competitive market place,
- Human Resource skills / experience is essential for this role,
- A practical commercial individual able to coach and motivate a team to provide the best customer service whilst operating within defined procedures and guidelines,
