Duties and Responsibilities 1) Gain and maintain relevant familiarity with the project and operations within his assigned area, to include required documentations and constant communications/interface with the Leadman and the Site Development Coordinator. 2) Perform and coordinate with team members, the Leadman and/or Site Development Coordinator, the following tasks: a) Understand the tasks at hand that require welding works. b) Measure and cutting metal to specifications. c) Welding metals using correct welding materials and method to join them together. d) Check finished work to make sure that it falls within the quality expected of the task. e) Meet task deadlines together with the skilled workforce in the expected quality standards. f) Clean, secure, and return tools, equipment, and materials to its designated storage area on-site after work. g) Adhere to the instructions of the Safety Officer regarding site safety activities and protocols. 3) Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by immediate superior and the Department Head. License : NC2 Certificate as Welder Years of Experience General : ü Sufficient literacy/aptitude, training and experience in welding works. ü Knowledge of various welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, arc, and oxy-fuel welding. ü Flexibility/Adaptability to the variances of different operations, on the field or otherwise, assigned to based on project nature, geography, social culture, extent and nature of local government intervention and support, local resources, etc. ü Resourceful and creative especially in situations requiring proper, prompt and contingent action to meet the demand of Operations ü Multi-task-capable and able to work extended hours on the work sites ü Good focus on targets, objectives and deadlines Specialized : At least 3 years exposure in the field of welding works – whether in construction or in fabrication environment Other Skills : Can read blueprints but not mandatory Job Type: Full-time Schedule:
