Inventory Management · Oversee the receipt of ingredients, raw materials, and finished products. · Ensure accurate and up-to-date stock levels through regular stocktaking and reporting. · Track inventory to minimize waste and prevent shortages of essential supplies. · Ensure proper storage of perishable and non-perishable goods, adhering to the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method. Warehouse Operations · Supervise the unloading and loading of delivery trucks. · Organize the storage areas to maximize space utilization and safety. · Prepare orders for internal production and external distribution in a timely manner. · Ensure that deliveries are accurate and meet quality standards. Documentation & Reporting · Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including goods received and dispatched, damaged items, and stock movement. · Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and warehouse performance. · Coordinate with other departments such as Purchasing, Production, and Logistics. Health & Safety Compliance · Ensure the warehouse complies with health, safety, and food safety standards. · Regularly inspect the facility to identify and resolve potential hazards. · Train warehouse staff on safe handling and storage procedures, especially for food items. · Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. Team Supervision · Supervise warehouse staff and coordinate their daily activities. · Provide training and guidance to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures. · Monitor employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
