ROLE PURPOSE:
Our Store Supervisor assists the Store Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations focusing on selling, cashiering, vault, and back-office management. The Store Supervisor is also responsible for the implementation of compliance to ROS (Retail Operating Standards)
This role focuses on:
· Assisting the Store Manager in achieving sales target through proper implementation of plans and documentation of all back end related activities
· Performing necessary functions for all digitally enabled services
· Ensuring proper execution of merchandise guidelines, planograms and promo execution
· Implementing and ensuring controls on till management and documentation of all accountabilities and rectification in compliance to ROS
· Monitoring of store’s controllable expenses and recommends cost efficiency measures to increase productivity & profitability
· Sustaining team engagement and performance thru coaching, counseling, motivating and disciplining employees
· Building network as liaison to Branch and Mall partners for better communication and coordination needed to support the business.
· Liaising the company to government agencies and offices for permits and licenses renewals
Success will depend on
· Ability to understand sales performance, trends and can recommend action to improve sales & profitability
· Ability to demonstrate and understand online + offline initiatives and can provide feedback on its implementation
· Ability to monitor and evaluate implementation of service delivery standards– both online & offline
· Ability to elevate and recommend solutions of online & offline customer concerns
· Ability to implement and enforce data privacy and security
· Ability to understand store profitability and implement cost optimization measures to maximize productivity
· Ability to benchmark retail practices and relationship building with mall partners and affiliates
· Ability to understand and comply with government business requirement
· Ability to delegate tasks, can coach selling techniques and orchestrate team to maximize productivity & can sustain team motivation.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
· At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
· Applicants must be willing to work in WATSONS Koronadal City.
