JOB DESCRIPTION As a Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that the store operations run smoothly, efficiently, and profitability. You will manage a team of Bakeshop Store Assistants, Cafe Baristas, and other crews provide training and development, and ensure that all staff adhere to company policies and procedures. To ensure success as a store supervisor, you should exhibit demonstrable managerial competency, and excellent communication skills. Store Supervisors are natural leaders with excellent business management skills and passion for customer service. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
High energy level; must be able to work in varying work schedules and workweek/days including holidays
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Results-oriented, self-driven, fast learner and adaptable
Computer literate in MS Office: Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Overseeing the store staff
Keeping records of expenditures, sales figures, and employee performance
Evaluating the supply and availability of stocks
Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, theft and wastage
Monitoring shelves stocks and product displays, and the general appearance of the store
Investigating market trends and offering products that would appeal to customers
Addressing customers' requests, comments, and complaints
Motivating employees to achieve targets
Training new staff members and scheduling shifts
QUALIFICATION
A bachelor's degree in business administration, financial management, or equivalent preferred
Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity at a bakeshop/cafe or similar
Extensive experience with preparing budgets, and financial and expense reports
In-depth knowledge of product and consumer trends, and marketing strategies
Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers
