Job Overview: The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing store performance. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The Store Manager will also play a key role in driving sales, maintaining profitability, and ensuring the smooth execution of operational processes. Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries and maintain adequate stock levels.
Manage store opening and closing procedures.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive work environment.
Prepare work schedules, assign tasks, and ensure proper shift coverage.
Monitor employee performance and conduct performance evaluations.
Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to develop the team.
Customer Service:
Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring a pleasant guest experience.
Handle customer complaints and feedback, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Ensure product quality, presentation, and consistency in line with brand standards.
Financial Management:
Oversee the store’s budget, sales targets, and profitability.
Track daily sales, costs, and other KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
Manage cash flow, including cash handling procedures and bank deposits.
Implement strategies to drive revenue growth and reduce costs.
Inventory & Supply Chain:
Manage inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimal waste.
Conduct regular inventory checks, monitor usage, and control shrinkage.
Order supplies and liaise with vendors for timely replenishment of stock.
Marketing & Sales:
Assist in the implementation of marketing promotions and events to boost sales.
Monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Suggest and implement in-store promotions and community engagement activities.
Reporting & Analysis:
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for review by upper management.
Analyze store performance and customer feedback to improve operations.
Prepare end-of-day sales reports, inventory reports, and employee attendance logs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in an F&B management role.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Strong financial acumen and understanding of budgeting and sales forecasting.
Knowledge of F&B operations, health and safety regulations, and inventory management.
Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle stress, and resolve conflicts.
Work Environment:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
May require occasional lifting of items up to 25 lbs.
