Service Desk Support III | US Client | Night Shift
Our US Partner Client is a rapidly growing technology solutions provider focusing upon Cloud, Cyber Security, Networking, Disaster Recovery and Managed Services. As a Service Desk Support III, you will have the responsibility for remote client support, as well as the potential for infrequent onsite support, including heavy interaction with end-users in diverse computing environments. This is a full-time role, on a US shift and on a Work in the office set-up. If you have the right skill set, this may be your opportunity to enter this fast-growing organization. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor and manage escalated service tickets, ensuring timely resolution and escalation as needed.
Oversee diverse computing environments for various business clients, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, networks, and servers.
Set up user accounts and workstations, ensuring security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
Analyze and document unfamiliar client/server setups to identify quick solutions.
Perform workstation/server incidents and resolve high-level issues.
Provide consulting on applications, best practices, and general IT processes.
Operate and monitor network security protocols, including firewalls and internet connections.
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 5 years of experience as a Systems or Network Administrator
Strong knowledge of system security, including intrusion detection and data backup/recovery
Expertise in desktop and server support, network configurations, and hardware troubleshooting
Proficient in Microsoft Server and Workstation technologies
Experience with databases, LAN/WAN networks, and patch management
Ability to follow processes and escalate unclear variables to management
Familiar with multiple operating systems and platforms
Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and task coordination skills
Mobile Device Administration/Management Remote Computing (Microsoft RDS, Citrix)
LAN/WAN Administration (Sonic WALL/Cisco/Meraki)
Wireless Administration (Meraki, Cisco)
Server Infrastructure Administration
SAN/NAS Administration (HP, Dell, EMC, Net App)
Centralized Management Platforms
