Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contributing to and implementing the organization’s strategic Procurement plan in line with overall business performance goals
- Complete full Category Strategies from cradle to grave ensuring best Quality, Delivery and Cost is met. Category strategies will include, RACI’s, business needs analysis, internal and external market analysis, go-to-market strategies, opportunities identified and risk mitigations, implementation plans and executing Contracts
- Maintain a cost movement analysis
- Ongoing Supplier and Subcontractor performance management for defined Categories
- Sending out RFP and RFQ’s utilizing e-sourcing software
- Improve efficiencies in the end-to-end process for both new and discontinued products, to minimize waste and ensure minimal disruption to clients and the business
- Identify ETS (extras to schedule), price variation or cost issues, investigate their root cause, report the information to the relevant department for feedback and implement continuous improvement measures to limit their occurrence in the future.
- Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree.
- Specialist knowledge of procurement concepts, processes, activities and trends.
- 5 Years Category Management including developing and delivering Category Strategies.
- Negotiation skills.
- Advanced analytical interpretation and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant Procurement qualifications such as MCIPS.
- Can work office based
- Knowledge with Australian Standard is a plus.
