The Operations Projects Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Vice President for Motorcycle Dealership by managing both the technical and administrative aspects of daily operations. This role involves coordinating operational tasks, analyzing data to improve efficiency, and overseeing specific projects aimed at enhancing business performance, with a particular focus on sales and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle both routine coordination duties and strategic project analysis. Competencies 1. Operational Coordination The ability to effectively manage and align different functions, teams, and activities within an organization to achieve its goals. Assist in the day-to-day coordination of operations, ensuring smooth workflow between departments. Manage schedules, meetings, and communications related to operations. Maintain and organize operational documentation, reports, and files for easy access and review. Act as a liaison between the VP for Operations and other departments, ensuring alignment on key initiatives. 2. Project Management The skills, knowledge, and abilities required to successfully plan, execute, monitor, and close projects. It involves managing resources, timelines, and goals to ensure that a project is completed on time, within scope, and on budget, while also meeting quality standards. Coordinate and track the progress of ongoing operational projects, ensuring that deadlines and milestones are met. Assist in the planning and execution of projects aimed at improving efficiency across operations, particularly within sales and marketing. Support the development of project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Prepare status reports, presentations, and updates for the VP for Motorcycle Dealership and other stakeholders. 3. Process Improvement & Analysis The ability to assess, optimize, and streamline organizational processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance. It involves identifying inefficiencies, analyzing data, and implementing solutions that lead to continuous improvement in workflows, cost savings, and quality. Conduct cost-benefit analysis and performance reviews of current operational processes. Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains in both operations and sales/marketing functions. Collaborate with teams to develop and propose strategies for operational optimization, including workflow redesign and resource utilization improvements. Develop proposals to improve operational efficiency, leveraging data and insights to support recommendations. 4. Sales & Marketing Support Provide essential services and assistance to sales and marketing teams to enhance their effectiveness and ensure successful campaigns, customer acquisition, and revenue generation. Provide analytical support to the sales and marketing teams, ensuring that operations align with business goals. Assist in the preparation and analysis of reports related to sales performance, customer satisfaction, and market trends. Coordinate efforts between the operations and sales teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery. 5. Administrative Duties Support the VP for Operations in preparing and organizing reports, presentations, and proposals. Manage administrative functions such as budgeting, procurement, and resource management related to operational projects.
