The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair activities of the manufacturing facility. This role ensures all equipment and systems operate efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of technicians, manage maintenance schedules, and implement best practices to enhance operational reliability. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff activities, including scheduling and assigning work.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime.
Manage maintenance budgets and supplies inventory.
Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices and safety procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
Report on maintenance performance metrics and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a maintenance team.
