We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory and Warehouse Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate acquisition, preservation, and management of inventory, supporting the company’s departmental and corporate objectives. Responsibilities:
Receiving Process: Verify the correct quantity and type of items delivered by suppliers, receive items in the system (Maximo), and prepare necessary documents for payment processing.
Storage Management: Allocate storage space for inventory items and maintain orderliness in the warehouse.
Issuance Process: Handle item issuance requests, prepare inventory items for issuance, and ensure approved requests are submitted prior to withdrawal.
Logistics Process: Process, document, and track all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring safe and on-time delivery.
Item Monitoring: Monitor inventory levels, identify and address stock shortages or obsolescence, and submit regular reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Compliance: Adhere to company policies and standards, including Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, Asset Management, Energy Management, Business Continuity, and Information Security Management Systems.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Commerce, Accounting, or Engineering.
Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in warehousing, power plants, construction, or a similar environment.
Skills: Basic warehousing knowledge, shipment handling, ability to work safely with minimal supervision, and good communication skills.
