JOB TITLE: HR Officer INDUSTRY: Furniture DEPARTMENT: Human Resources JOB SUMMARY The HR Officer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. He or she will work within a team to recruit quality employees, improve the company’s current HR systems and procedures to increase productivity, supervise performance appraisal systems, process and distribute employee payrolls, uphold legal compliances, address employee-related issues, and create employee welfare initiatives. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Recruitment
Regularly develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
Coordinate with requesting supervisors and top management to identify job requirements and candidate profiles
Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
Maintain a file of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
Review resumes and shortlist top candidates for interview
Arrange and conduct job interviews
Assess candidates’ skills, experience, and personality to ensure their suitability for the job and the company.
Stay updated on recruitment trends and best practices
Provide feedback and recommendations on way to improve recruitment metrics (e.g. recruitment time, turnover rate, and quality of hire)
Payroll
Every half-month payroll processing.
Processing rostering and timesheets.
Adding and onboarding staff into the system/database.
Responsible for tracking and managing our company’s payroll data.
Calculating employee benefits and deductions.
Scheduling electronic payments and handing out paychecks.
Preparing payroll reports.
Distributing payment statements.
Respond to employee questions about compensation, taxes, benefits, and deductions.
Management
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing questions, suggestions, and grievances.
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Propose strategies to nurture a positive working environment (e.g. team building activities, company events, and benefits program)
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
At least 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in human resources
