HEALTHCARE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE – FRONT DESK
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- · Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Nursing or relevant field
- · Prior experience as a customer service specialist or equivalent, ideally within a similar setting.
- · Sales experience is highly advantageous.
- · Computer literate with an above-average typing speed.
- · Superb verbal and written communication skills.
- · Thorough, with excellent listening skills.
- · Ability to calm irate, anxious, or grieving customers.
- · Capacity to navigate stressful situations with ease.
- · Available to work shifts, which may include work during evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting patients with appointment scheduling
- Check and confirm online appointment
- Remind future appointments
- Check insurance and call patient if their insurance is inactive
- Call patient for laboratory result
- Maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
- Handling inquiries and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
