Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Summary:
As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving issues related to IBM DB2 Database Administration, as well as providing support for other configured services running on various platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and maintenance for production and development systems and software products, both remotely and onsite.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IBM DB2 Database Administration, ensuring the smooth operation of the database.
• Support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective functioning of software solutions and vendors.
• Perform L1 and L2 troubleshooting for basic and intermediate level issues.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Required Skill: Proficiency in IBM DB2 Database Administration.
• Additional Must To Have Skills: Experience with Postgre SQL and Postgre SQL Administration.
• Strong understanding of server and network areas.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to database administration.
• Knowledge of software solutions and vendors.
• Experience in L1 and L2 troubleshooting.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have 2 years of experience in IBM DB2 Database Administration.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in IT Operations or a related field, along with a proven track record of providing technical support and maintenance.
• This position is based in Manila.
