Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:

• Process invoices and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of all payables.

Accounts Receivable:

• Generate and send invoices to clients.
• Monitor accounts for outstanding payments and follow up as necessary.
• Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate records of receivables.

Payroll Processing:

• Prepare and process payroll accurately and on time.
• Maintain employee records related to payroll, benefits, and tax information.
• Ensure compliance with relevant payroll legislation and regulations.

General Ledger Maintenance:

• Post journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare financial reports as required.

About you

• 3-4 years solid experience in AR/AP and Payroll
• Must have Australian knowledge OR practical experience with Xero
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to take a hands-on approach as needed.
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually on projects.
