About the role:
The Intermediate Accountant will be working closely with the client to support the business and manage the following tasks:

• Bookkeeping
• Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
• Prepare Business Activity Statements and Installment Activity Statements for SME clients
• Assist in tax planning and compliance for individuals and businesses
• Collaborating via zoom or Google Meet with a dedicated mentor and manager
• Collaborate with team members on accounting and advisory projects
• Provide exceptional service to clients and maintain strong client relationships

About you
We are looking for an A-star individual, passionate and competent with what they do and bringing the WOW with the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years Australian Tax experience
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as Xero, Xero Practice Manager, Handi, MYOB, or Quick Books
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
