Job Title: Automotive and Industrial Paint Technician
Location: Southern Mindanao, Northern Mindanao, West Mindanao

Key Responsibilities
Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces to be painted, ensuring proper adhesion of paint and other finishes. This includes inspecting surfaces for imperfections and making necessary repairs.
Paint Application: Apply primers, paints, lacquers, and other coatings using spray guns, brushes, or rollers in accordance with job specifications and safety regulations.
Color Matching & Mixing: Accurately mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired finish, maintaining consistency across projects.
Quality Control: Perform quality checks throughout the process to ensure smooth and even coatings, without runs, sags, or other defects.
Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean painting equipment, spray booths, and work areas. Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials and comply with environmental standards.
Documentation & Reporting: Record all work completed, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered during the painting process.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including engineers, production staff, and quality control to ensure timely completion of projects.
Health & Safety: Adhere to all safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of chemicals. Stay updated on regulatory standards and ensure compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience as a Paint Technician in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
Proficiency in various painting techniques, including spray painting and manual methods.
Knowledge of paint mixing, color matching, and surface preparation techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic math skills for mixing formulas and time management.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in automotive, industrial, or marine painting.
Experience working in a high-volume production environment.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and environmental safety standards.
Experience with waterborne, solvent-based, and powder coatings.
