Accounting Assistant

The successful candidate shall supervise and participate in the implementation of services functions to the member‐locators of PACE. These include the processes such as landscaping, garbage collection, pay parking supervision and dues collection of PACE. Accounting Assistant also process payments to suppliers, service providers, utility providers and government agencies; maintain ledger accounts in SAP, encode quarterly reports to BIR. She/He shall also prepare and submit Financial Statements to PACE Management and SEC. The ideal candidate should have:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervises the Pueblo Business Park, Masterson Mile South and Golden Glow North Commercial locators who are members of PACE.
  • Ensure that all services to the members are properly provided; act as liaison personnel between PACE and its members.
  • Supervises the landscaping personnel, garbage collectors and pay parking attendants.
  • As custodian of the company’s fixed assets, shall be responsible for annual inventory, documentation, and liquidation when necessary.
  • Receive and process Request for Payment (RFP) within the prescribed processing time.
  • Prepares and process BIR returns and corresponding attachments for EWT, ITW, VAT & Income Tax Return ahead of deadlines.
  • BIR and other Government errands for PACE registration updates and documentations.
  • Preparation and bank reconciliation of PACE accounts.
  • Monthly/Quarterly FS preparation and reporting.
  • Monthly processing of accruals and monitoring of expenses.
  • Prepares RFPs and Monitoring for Electric Utility bills.
  • Encoding, checking and SAP booking of collections in PBP Parking Fees
  • Prepares checks payments of all payables.
  • Maintains PACE book of accounts in SAP. Ensure subsidiary ledgers tallies with the General Ledger.
  • Handles payment of Business Tax to the CTO.
  • Responding to Email requests and queries, and/or Email work related concerns
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience: 2‐4 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Finance or equivalent.
  • Competencies / Skills:proficiency in various MS applications, especially Excel
  • Others: High average communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent customer service skills
