Position Overview:
As a Procurement Specialist, you are responsible for overseeing the entirety of the procurement function, managing tasks from generating purchase orders to invoicing and receiving goods. They are responsible for purchasing goods, materials, and services to meet client requirements, while considering factors such as price, quality, and delivery to ensure uninterrupted supply.
What you’ll do as the Senior Procurement Specialist:
Employees employed in the role of Procurement Specialist shall be required to apply their independent mind and demonstrate intellectual abilities in their decision-making.

- Execute purchase orders with suppliers, aligning with predetermined cost, quantity, and delivery objectives.
- Maintain comprehensive records of purchase orders, updating daily backorder reports to ensure accurate information dissemination to the sales team.
- Provide support to the purchasing function and other relevant departments, communicating any supply issues that may impact business operations.
- Aim for a minimum of 15% of orders older than 48 hours to have no estimated time of arrival (ETA), unless there are significant constraints from the manufacturer.
- Serve as a liaison between suppliers and various departments, facilitating purchasing processes for new projects and initiatives.
- Ensure that orders lacking an ETA after 72 hours are effectively resolved with assistance from the sourcing team.
- Monitor and address any potential risks or opportunities that may affect organizational objectives.
- Conduct cost analysis, both for existing and prospective expenditures, and participate in cost reduction initiatives.
- Prioritize the completion of updating all open purchase orders for entities in Zones EMEA by 11am daily, facilitating successful utilization of Go Zone and My Zone.
- Generate weekly, daily, and monthly reports as needed, collaborating closely with Finance and Sales teams to identify avenues for continuous improvement.
- Lead contract negotiations to optimize prices and terms with suppliers, leveraging negotiation strategies and procurement best practices.
- Initiate and process purchase orders and order schedules in a timely manner.
- Cultivate and sustain positive supplier relationships through regular communication and effective management practices.
- Uphold a professional and consistent approach in all interactions with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and purchasing policies.
- Compile supplier performance data to facilitate evaluation and improvement initiatives.
- Engage with suppliers to resolve any issues related to pricing, quality, delivery, or invoicing discrepancies.
- Maintain the timing of order generation and confirmation, ensuring it occurs within a 2-hour window following successful execution of master planning.
- Uphold a case completion rate exceeding 95% across all relevant areas of CE.
- Continued delivery of 5-Star Service to customers.
What you will bring to the team:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Graduate/Masters – Majors in Supply Chain Management.
- Any certification in supply chain management will be a plus point.
- 3-4 years’ experience working in an Offshore/Outsourced model in a combined procurement /operation/supply chain function; reseller hardware/software industry preferred.
- General understanding of information technology products and terminology preferred.
- Vendor engagement
- Excellent Coordination, Excellent Communication Skills, Business Excellence
- Hands on experience of working on ERP tools. SAP, Dynamics 365 etc.
- Should be aware of current technology trends.
