Job Summary:
As the Spa Manager at Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah, you will lead and manage the spa operations, ensuring the highest level of service and satisfaction for our guests. You will oversee a team of spa therapsist, delivering a world-class wellness experience, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, with a strong focus on guest service, quality, and innovation in line with the brand’s luxury standards.

Oversee the daily operations of the spa, including treatment rooms, retail areas, and wellness programs, ensuring all services are delivered to the highest standards of luxury and guest satisfaction.
Recruit, train, and manage spa therapists, provide ongoing development, motivation, and performance evaluations.
Ensure an exceptional, personalized experience for every guest, offering tailored wellness treatments and overseeing the delivery of spa services with attention to detail.
Manage the spa’s budget, including revenue generation, cost control, and profit optimization. Ensure accurate financial reporting, and prepare and present financial analysis as needed.
Maintain close communication with guests, resolve complaints promptly, and act on guest feedback to continuously improve service quality.
Motivate colleagues to achieve upselling targets.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create spa packages, promotions, and events that attract local residents and resort guests, increasing spa visibility and revenue.
Manage spa inventory, retail products, and supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and proper display to maximize sales.
Work closely with other departments, including housekeeping, recreation, and food & beverage, to provide a seamless guest experience.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Spa/Wellness Management, Hospitality Management, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in spa management, preferably within a luxury hotel or resort.
Proven ability to manage a diverse team in a luxury setting.
Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Financial acumen, with experience in budget management and revenue optimization.
Knowledge of the latest trends in spa and wellness, beauty products, and guest services.
Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
