Job purpose To achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services and secures new business accounts/customers. Duties and responsibilities
‐ Review all enquiries from the customer and prepare rapid and accurate quotations
‐Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone calls and emails
‐ Arranging meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
‐ Gathering market and customer information
‐ Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
‐ Negotiating on price and costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers
‐ Liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders
‐ Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office
‐ Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
‐ Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
‐ Attending team meetings and sharing best practices with colleagues
Qualifications Education University degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or an equivalent certificate. Skills and Experience ‐ Minimum of 3 years of related experience or training in Oil and Gas services sector
‐ Demonstrated aptitude for problem‐solving; ability to determine solutions for customers ‐ Must be results‐orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
‐ Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
‐Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management softwae
