Audiologist & Hearing Aid Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Audiologist & Hearing Aid Specialist to join our client’s team in Muscat. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Oman market and will be responsible for evaluating and treating hearing disorders, providing hearing aids, and conducting various diagnostic tests. This role also involves managing the fitting and maintenance of hearing aids, handling all necessary licenses and certifications, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Pay: RO500.000 - RO800.000 per month
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and Treat Hearing Disorders: Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments using audiometric tests and other diagnostic tools to evaluate the extent and nature of hearing loss in patients.
- Provide Hearing Aids: Recommend and fit appropriate hearing aids based on individual patient needs, lifestyle, and preferences. Ensure proper programming, customization, and adjustments for optimal functionality.
- Conduct Diagnostic Tests: Perform various tests to diagnose hearing and balance disorders.
- Manage Fitting and Maintenance: Oversee the fitting, tuning, and maintenance of hearing aids. Provide ongoing support and follow-up care to ensure optimal hearing aid performance.
- Patient Education and Counseling: Educate patients and their families on the use, care, and maintenance of hearing aids. Offer guidance on communication strategies and coping techniques for better hearing.
- Handle Licenses and Certifications: Ensure compliance with all local regulations and maintain up-to-date licenses and certifications required for practice in Oman.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with other healthcare providers, such as ENT specialists, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Stay Updated with Advancements: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in audiology and hearing aid technology to provide the best possible care to patients.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Audiology or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Audiologist & Hearing Aid Specialist in the Oman market.
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid licenses and certifications to practice audiology in Oman , Plus Omani Driving licenses.
- Location : the candidate should be in Muscat .
- Strong diagnostic and analytical skills.

- Proficiency in using audiometric equipment and hearing aid fitting software.
