Job Title:Waiter/Waitress Reports to:Restaurant Manager or Supervisor Job Summary: Provide excellent customer service, take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure a pleasant dining experience for guests in a restaurant, cafe, or other food service establishment. Key Responsibilities: Pre-Service: 1. Greet and welcome guests. 2. Manage tables, take reservations, and organize seating. Service: 1. Take orders accurately and efficiently. 2. Serve food and beverages promptly. 3. Provide menu information and recommendations. 4. Handle special requests and allergies. Post-Service: 1. Clear tables, replenish utensils, and maintain cleanliness. 2. Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions. 3. Provide feedback and resolve customer complaints. Additional Tasks: 1. Maintain knowledge of menu, drinks, and daily specials. 2. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other servers. 3. Participate in inventory management and stock control. 4. Adhere to health and safety regulations. Skills and Qualities: 1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 2. Attention to detail and multitasking ability. 3. Friendly, courteous, and patient demeanor. 4. Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment. 5. Basic math skills and knowledge of POS systems. Work Environment: 1. Restaurant, cafe, or food service establishment. 2. Fast-paced, dynamic environment. 3. Standing, walking, and lifting required. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₦50,000.00 - ₦80,000.00 per month
