We are seeking a dynamic Territory Development Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a segment of the East to drive sales growth, build strong customer relationships and promote our brand in the wine and spirit industry. The ideal candidate should be resident in Enugu and familiar with the major trade channels in the East. Duties:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals within the assigned territory
- Identify new business opportunities and build a strong pipeline of potential clients
- Conduct market research and analyze competitor activity to identify key trends
- Provide excellent customer service and support to existing clients
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track sales activities and maintain customer records
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers to maximize sales opportunities
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive overall company revenue growth
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field
- Proven experience in technical sales, key account management, or business development
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and customer needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer engagement
- Familiarity with the East open market and on-trade channels as regards to the wine and spirit industry
- Previous experience of a minimum of five (5) years in sales of wine and spirit is preferred
- Familiarity with technology sales processes is advantageous
