Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
At least 4 years working in the solar and distributed energy industry in Nigeria
Membership of relevant professional bodies (Nigeria Society of Engineers, COREN)
Completed training/certifications in Solar PV project design and implementation.
PMP certification a plus
Ability to travel around Lagos and multiple customer sites
Required Experience
At least 3 years designing and installing off and hybrid grid solar installations
At least 1 year experience on procurement and logistics for solar PV equipment and accessories from Tier 1 and Tier 2 providers
Experience executing residential and small business sales calls for electrical installations
Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries and questions
Design brand-agnostic systems with attention to performance and cost efficiency
Partner with Technical Operations for procurement and negotiation of equipment costs and labor costs
Lead, Manage and Install Equipment along with Subcontracted Teams
Review and audit Customer’s appliance / electricity needs, current demand, and expected energy requirements
Propose and reviewing installation design specs for installations of 5-50Kv A
Supervise installations onsite
Remediate issues remotely and onsite
