Job Title: School Operations Manager Duties and Responsibilities · Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of the school, including scheduling, resource allocation, and facilities management to ensure a safe and effective learning environment. · Staff Support: Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance operational efficiency and address any challenges that arise. · Financial Oversight: Manage the school’s budget, including monitoring expenses, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. · Accounting Functions: Perform accounting duties such as invoicing, and maintaining accurate financial records; coordinate with external auditors when necessary. · Administrative Duties: Monitor administrative tasks, including maintaining pupil records, managing enrollment processes, and ensuring compliance with standard regulations. · Policy Implementation: Collaborate with Human Resources to implement operational policies and procedures that will improve efficiency and effectiveness in school management. · Parents Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents and address inquiries and concerns promptly. · Data Management: Utilize data to inform decision-making, track performance metrics, and support strategic planning efforts. · Compliance and Safety: Ensure that the school adheres to health, safety, and educational standards; conduct regular audits and assessments. · Required to work collaboratively across teams to achieve its objectives. Qualifications and Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in Education Administration, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in school operations, administration, and accounting.
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of educational regulations and compliance requirements.
