Sales representative

Job Summary:
The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and generating new sales opportunities, as well as managing and growing existing customer accounts. The Sales Representative will work closely with prospective and current clients to understand their needs, propose effective solutions, and close sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong drive to achieve sales goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new sales leads and opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other prospecting activities - Schedule and conduct sales meetings, presentations, and demonstrations with prospective clients - Manage the sales process from initial contact to contract signing, including proposal writing, negotiation, and closing deals - Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business and upsell opportunities - Collaborate with marketing, product, and service teams to stay up-to-date on the company's offerings and value proposition - Achieve and exceed individual and team sales quotas and targets - Provide accurate and timely reporting on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts Qualifications: - 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in a B2B or technology-related industry - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present and negotiate - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas - Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills - Proficient in using sales tools and customer relationship management (CRM) software - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Preferred Skills: - Industry-specific product knowledge or technical background - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Adaptability to changing market conditions and customer needs
Must reside around Ajah
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From ₦60,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Lagos: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
  • Sales representative: 2 years (Required)
