Printing Operator
We are looking for a talented Printing Operator with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise in printing processes and modeling skills, enabling them to produce high-quality printed materials and prototypes. This role requires attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with design teams to bring concepts to life.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate and maintain 3D printers (FDM, SLA, and other types) to ensure smooth operation and high-quality production of 3D-printed parts.
· Manage material loading, calibration, and troubleshooting of printing equipment to achieve optimal performance.
· Post-process printed items, including sanding, polishing, and cleaning resin prints to meet quality standards.
· Conduct quality control for printed products, ensuring they meet specifications and are free from defects.
· Collaborate with design teams to understand project requirements and specifications, ensuring all models and printed materials meet quality expectations.
· Set up and manage printing jobs by interpreting job orders, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring proper material usage.
· Monitor print quality during production runs, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to printing and modeling equipment to minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
· OND/HND/B.Sc or equivalent; technical degree or certification in printing technology, graphic design, or a related field is preferred.
· 2 to 5 years of experience as a printing technician or modeler, with hands-on experience in both areas.
· Proficient in operating and troubleshooting 3D printing equipment and modeling software (e.g., CAD, 3D modeling).
· Strong understanding of various printing processes and technologies, including color management and print finishing techniques.
· Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for quality and accuracy.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
