Mathematics Teacher for Primary School

  • Must possess great understanding of basic Mathematics and Science related concepts.
  • Prepare lessons in order to suit the learning needs of children in the class.
  • Possess good time management skills during lesson rendition and other school activities. The daily timetable must be followed and assigned daily subjects must be completed.
  • Prepare instructional materials related to every topic.
  • Prepare science experiments and practical activities for each lesson in order to promote creativity and critical thinking.
  • Prepare children for internal and external competitions and STEM activities.
  • Ensure follow up activities are given to assess understanding of concepts taught and corrections are done where missed by the pupils. Assignments and corrections must be marked in a timely manner.
  • Respect of the school authority is mandatory.
  • Ensure good work ethics and appropriate language should be used in the school premises.
  • Manage the pupils in your care effectively and take responsibility of the children's belongings and the school's property.
  • Engage and prepare for a weekly preview of your lessons.
  • Attend school scheduled meetings, trainings, fellowships etc.
  • Must possess adequate classroom management and ensure that the classroom is tidy and organized at all times.
  • Prepare pupils for presentations.
  • Ensure continuous professional development. Take up trainings to improve on the job.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦40,000.00 - ₦55,000.00 per month
