The Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing the marketing strategies of the radio station to boost audience engagement, drive revenue growth, and enhance brand visibility.
This individual will work closely with internal teams to develop advertising, promotional, and community outreach initiatives tailored to the radio station’s audience and clients in Oyo Town and surrounding areas.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase audience engagement and listenership.
Collaborate with content teams to create on-air and digital promotional content that attracts local advertisers and sponsors.
Advertising Sales & Revenue Generation:
Identify new advertising opportunities and potential clients across various industries.
Build and maintain relationships with local businesses to secure partnerships and sponsorships.
Audience Engagement:
Coordinate on-air promotions, giveaways, and interactive content that enhance listener engagement.
Oversee social media marketing, website updates, and other digital outreach efforts to grow the station’s online presence.
Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct research to understand listener preferences, competitive landscape, and market trends.
Event Planning & Execution:
Plan, organize, and manage station events, community outreach programs, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Supervise and mentor the Marketing team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Key Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or related field.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the media or broadcast industry.
Skills:
Strong understanding of digital and traditional media marketing.
Proficiency in market analysis and audience engagement strategies.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
