Job Title: Machine Operator Location: Ota, Ogun State Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Manufacturing / Plastics We are looking for a talented and experienced Plastic Blow and Moulding Machine Operator with at least 5 years of experience in operating and maintain blow and molding machinery. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of plastic materials, including the ability to mix materials properly, and ensure high-quality production standards. Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation: Operate and oversee blow and moulding machines to produce plastic products according to specifications and quality standards.
Material Mixing: Accurately mix raw materials and additives according to established formulas and procedures to ensure optimal product quality.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to quality standards. Make adjustments as necessary to meet specifications.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery. Report any major issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, material usage, and machine performance.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Wear and utilize personal protective equipment as required.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and product quality.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience operating plastic blow and molding machines.
Material Knowledge: Proven ability to mix plastic materials correctly, with a strong understanding of material properties and their impact on production.
Technical Skills: Proficient in operating and troubleshooting blow and molding machinery. Familiarity with automated and semi-automated systems is a plus.
Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and precision in machine operation and product inspection.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and address issues efficiently.
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing environment.
