The HR Manager will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day HR operations for our industrial workforce. This includes overseeing payroll, benefits administration, compliance with labor laws, employee relations, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing HR processes in a manufacturing or industrial setting and a deep understanding of labor regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage HR operations for the factory, including payroll, timekeeping, attendance tracking, and benefits administration.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
Lead the onboarding and offboarding process for factory employees, ensuring smooth transitions and proper documentation.
Manage HR systems (HRIS) to ensure accurate data entry, employee record maintenance, and reporting.
Support managers and supervisors with employee relations, providing guidance on performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Collaborate with production managers to ensure workforce planning aligns with operational goals and production demands.
Administer and monitor employee health and safety programs, including compliance and other relevant regulations.
Lead the implementation and improvement of HR policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Oversee the management of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and employee assistance programs.
Maintain a strong focus on employee engagement, retention, and talent development strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 -8 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, health and safety regulations, and HR best practices, especially in an industrial context.
Experience managing HR processes such as payroll, employee relations, and compliance.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and other health and safety standards for industrial workplaces.
Proficiency in HRIS platforms, timekeeping systems, and payroll software.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic industrial environment.
