HR Assistant

A.G Industries Limited is a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company dedicated to delivering high-quality and innovative healthcare solutions to our customers.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: HR Assistant
Job Location: Oluyole, Ibadan - Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities


  • Recruitment Support: Assist with job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews. Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing new hire documentation, setting up training schedules, and conducting orientations.
  • Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both electronic and paper formats, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
  • HR Administrative Support: Assist in preparing HR-related reports, memos, and correspondence. Provide support for employee inquiries and HR-related issues.
  • Employee Engagement: Help organize employee engagement activities, events, and programs to promote a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Assist in processing payroll changes and updates. Support the HR team with benefits administration and leave management.
  • Compliance: Ensure HR compliance by supporting the implementation of policies and procedures in line with labor laws and regulations.
  • General Administrative Tasks: Manage calendars, organize meetings, and perform other administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience: Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is preferred.
Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
