SUMMARY: The ideal candidate would be operation astute, highly strategic leader with a strong and intimate focus on the customer, with strong financial, excellent budgetary, forecasting and future planning skills. He/ She would oversee operations, supply chain management, logistics and distribution across the organization, embracing full Profit & Loss accountabilities whilst continuing to build the logistics network to support expansion and enhance customer engagement. He/She would oversee the organization’s ongoing operations and procedures. He/She would be a strong leader, capable of guiding the board in identifying and implementing a future vision and strategy, who is equally ambitious to make a dream reaching the next level of growth a reality RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
Forecast, evaluate, and monitor operational budget performance to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency and maximise profits.
Lead, oversee and manage all aspects of the company’s operation on a day-to-day basis to ensure specified KPIs are achieved.
Enable a thriving work environment, building and leading a highly motivated and high-performance team
Ensure that the company is competitive in all aspects of operations and is continuously building strategic and operational competitive advantage
Continuously improve the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization’s mission and long-term objectives.
Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer on all matters related to the business
Ensuring continuous delivery of services through management of service level agreements with end users and monitoring performance
Ensuring the operation adheres to applicable laws, audits, and regulations
Ensuring all current safety security practices, protocols, testing, audits and education plans are developed, maintained and communicated across the organization.
Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics• Write and submit reports to the MD in all matters of importance
Manage retail operations as “Profit Center” in line with company’s sales objectives
Develop & deliver sales budgets, forecast volume turnover and review all the key operations parameters periodically
Oversee and manage the asset of the Organisation
Strong leadership and direction to management team (including their training & development)
SKILLS/ REQUIREMENTS:
University degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or Business Management related courses is an added advantage
AT LEAST 10 YEARS Experience in retail or hospitality industry
Worked in a fast pace, high turnover organization
Extensive & relevant Operations management experience in similar role
The ability to plan and prioritise workload and delegate accordingly
Should have prior experience in a retail based business
Must be EXPERIENCED in operations and should have SOUND TRACK records of setting and DELIVERING RESULTS goals in organisation
