Job Position: Finance and Cost Analyst
Job Location: Island, Lagos

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and cost assessments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Develop and maintain financial models to project future financial performance and evaluate cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyze financial statements, identify trends, and prepare comprehensive reports for management review.
- Monitor and control operational costs to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints and financial objectives.
- Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and recommendations for improving cost efficiency and profitability.
- Prepare and present reports on financial performance, variance analysis, and cost trends to senior management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance financial control and accuracy.
- Conduct periodic reviews of financial data and internal processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g. ICAN, ACCA,) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, cost analysis, or a related role.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, financial modeling software).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Proactive and able to identify and address financial issues effectively.
- Strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Adaptable and open to new ideas and approaches.
