Finance and Cost Analyst

HRM & Logistics Support Services is into Human Development, HRM General Support, Consulting, Fleet and Logistics Support, Trainings, ISO consultant, etc.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Finance and Cost Analyst

Job Location: Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and cost assessments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to project future financial performance and evaluate cost-saving opportunities.
  • Analyze financial statements, identify trends, and prepare comprehensive reports for management review.
  • Monitor and control operational costs to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints and financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and recommendations for improving cost efficiency and profitability.
  • Prepare and present reports on financial performance, variance analysis, and cost trends to senior management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance financial control and accuracy.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of financial data and internal processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g. ICAN, ACCA,) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, cost analysis, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, financial modeling software).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting.
