Finance & Account Team Lead
· Manage the financial affairs of the Company, including management and statutory accounts together with longer-term financial projections, and ensure the existence and adequacy of efficient and effective financial control systems and reporting mechanisms.
· Perform all the financial control and planning functions.
· Participates in the development of strategic, long, mid, and short-term business and financial plans for the company, focusing on growth, profitability and sustainable improvement in business performance.
· Prepares operating budgets and monitors to ensure that approved financial operating standards, procedures, and controls in the deployment and utilization of resources are consistently and strictly adhered to in the business operations of the Firm
· Monitor and evaluate the budget implementation process to ensure compliance with performance provisions and that the company delivers on agreed budgets, by providing relevant information to cost and revenue centre managers, including forecasting andaccurate reporting of KPIs performance and expenditure against budget.
· Ensure the preparation and communication of timely, accurate, and useful financial and management reports for investors and/or lending institutions and management on a periodic/ad-hoc basis.
· Operate robust contracts management, financial management and reporting systems to ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements.
· Manages relationships with relevant external bodies/contacts e.g. regulatory organizations, auditors, solicitors, banks etc.
· Handles prompt administration of monthly payrolls, staff allowances and benefits and oversees tax remittance, payment of insurance premiums and other statutory fees for the company.
· Provide support and advice on financial management decisions, especially with regard to the organization’s short, medium and long-term cash, funding, risk situation, financial accounting, cost savings, revenue assurance and returns on investment imperatives of the business.
· Prepares periodic (i.e., quarterly, yearly etc.) management accounts, financial projections, and other relevant financial reports for CFO’s review.
· Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information, analyzing competitors, and market trends, predicting future financial trends and developing long-term business plans.
Required:
Pay: ₦400,000.00 - ₦600,000.00 per month

Required:
- Minimum of a first degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related discipline.
- A postgraduate qualification, preferably an MBA or Relevant Master’s Degree would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience in statutory financial reporting and knowledge of GAAP, IFRS.
- Membership of a relevant Professional body (Local or International) e.g., the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Association of Certified and Chartered
- Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant(CPA) or its equivalent.
- Audit experience (preferably within the Big 4) will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₦400,000.00 - ₦600,000.00 per month
