Job Description
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic direction and leadership for the sales team to achieve company sales goals and objectives.
Conduct market research to identify current and future market requirements, including regular visits to customers and non-customers.
Analyze potential partner relationships to expand the company's product lines and reach new markets.
Prepare quotations and technical proposals for customers to support the sales process.
Develop and implement marketing and sales plans to meet set goals and objectives, managing the Marketing Department Budget where applicable.
Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, ensuring product quality and competitiveness.
Gather important market and customer feedback to inform product improvements and new product development, collaborating closely with Software Engineers.
Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working collaboratively with all departments to ensure successful execution.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
3 years plus of work experience in the oil & gas space
Proven experience in business development, sales, or related fields, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to conduct market research and analyze market trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve results.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Experience in product management and lifecycle management is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Willingness to travel as needed.
