JOB TITLE: EOT Crane Operator
Location: Shagamu
Reporting: Production Head
Salary: 200k net
Our client in the Steel industry is looking for experienced and adaptable individuals to join their team as a Crane Operator to safely operate the hot metal crane during operations and during times of maintenance at the facility.

Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month

Our client in the Steel industry is looking for experienced and adaptable individuals to join their team as a Crane Operator to safely operate the hot metal crane during operations and during times of maintenance at the facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The role of the Ladle Crane Operator is to safely operate the hot metal crane during operations and during times of maintenance at the facility
- operating a cab controlled overhead crane and working around molten steel and slag.
- Safety is the most important part of all jobs within SMS; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety practices, policies, procedures
- Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to transporting hot metal for the operation
- Emptying ladles after processing, coordinating the operations with the entire melt shop team, and to cross train other team members in the hot metal crane operator position
- Track functioning of the machine during process and off – process for any irregularities; Inform the Manager/ In-charge for corrective action (filling logbook, records, and checklist).
- OND / HND / mechanical Engineering is an advantage.
- 06 - 10 years
- Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
