We are seeking a highly organized and spiritually mature Church Administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of our ministry, ensuring smooth and efficient administration in line with our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all administrative functions of the ministry, including managing correspondence, filing, and scheduling.
- Coordinate church events, services, and meetings, including handling logistics such as venue setup and volunteer coordination.
- Maintain and manage church records, including membership databases, financial records, and inventory.
- Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and expense tracking in collaboration with ministry leadership.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for members, visitors, and external vendors, handling inquiries and providing information.
- Support the pastor and leadership team in their administrative tasks.
- Ensure smooth office operations, including managing supplies, overseeing building maintenance, and handling IT and equipment needs.
- Assist with ministry communications, including maintaining the website, social media accounts, and newsletters.
- Coordinate volunteer efforts, including recruitment, scheduling, and management for various ministry activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably in a church or ministry setting.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and church management software is preferred.
- Financial management experience is a plus.
