Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner as they enter the establishment.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision.
- Ensure that all transactions are processed in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide information to customers regarding products, promotions, and company policies.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting periodic inventory counts.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the cashiering process.
- Uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a cashier or in a similar role.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and handling cash transactions.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- OND
- Additional certifications in cash handling or customer service are a plus.
- Experience in the hospitality industry.
