Business Development Manager


  • Are you a dynamic and strategic thinker with a passion for healthcare? A healthcare facility in Lekki Phase 1 is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth and innovation in the organization.
  • The BDM will develop strategic partnerships, manage stakeholder relationships, identify new business opportunities, and ensure that revenue targets are met.
  • This role requires a proactive approach to enhancing the hospital's brand, boosting patient inflow, and maintaining key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans aligned with the hospital's objectives.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships, including referring physicians, clinics, and insurance companies.
  • Create and improve proposals to attract new and existing clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients, leading to new business opportunities.
  • Track expenses, manage budgets, and ensure revenue targets are met.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to enhance service delivery and business goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, services, and potential markets.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to implement strategies for new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate and establish strategic partnerships with healthcare providers and corporate entities.
  • Identify and pursue revenue-generating opportunities, including specialty programs.
  • Assist the management team in service line expansion and facility launches.
  • Mentor and provide training to other team members involved in business development activities.
  • Ensure that the company meets its revenue goals and targets through innovative strategies.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications from relevant bodies such as CIMN or ISMN are an added advantage.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry dynamics and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to effectively research and analyze new market opportunities.
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and secure new partnerships.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to make informed business decisions.
  • Advanced time management, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Results-oriented, with the ability to balance short-term goals and long-term growth.
Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 Monthly (with a performance-based bonus structure).
