Working within our Transmission team you will successfully plan, schedule, manage and coordinate field employees, subcontractors, plant and equipment in the delivery of the work programmes safely, on time, to an appropriate quality standard and to achieve planned profit or better as per maintenance and job bid targets. You will also participate on the FRM (Faults Response Manager) roster in exceptional circumstances e.g. storm events. Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
Hands on experience in Transmission lines installation and maintenance.
A thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements.
Basic/ intermediate computer ability.
Able to write brief reports.
Excellent interpersonal skills with staff and customers, at all levels.
Physical stamina to carry out arduous manual work, often in trying conditions.
Previous experience in leading teams essential, experience in a similar role preferred.
A level 4 qualification as a Transmission Line Mechanic is preferred.
Supervisory training and qualification at Level 4 desirable.
