KEY DELIVERABLES OF THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of live/de-energised conductors, hardware, and structures used in the National Transmission Grid, including as required the erection, repair, and/or dismantling of assets. You will follow work to all and safety procedures as well as statutory requirements.

ABOUT YOU – Required Skills and Competencies

EWRB registered level 4 certified transmission line mechanic (Advantageous) .
Testing and Electrical Safety.
First Aid and CPR
Experience climbing transmission towers and or similar.
Valid driver’s license and experience driving appropriate vehicles on all roads, terrain, and weather conditions; Heavy truck license preferred.
Excellent attitude to SHEQ.
Physically fit especially with regards to heavy lifting, stretching, and climbing.
Comfortability with working at heights.
