Job Opportunity: Seasonal Tractor Drivers

Position Overview: We are looking for three experienced tractor drivers to operate various tractors for the harvest of sweet corn, melons, and squash. This is a seasonal role lasting eight months. It is important that the drivers hold a current NZ drivers license and are able to speak English in order to understand instruction and directions. The drivers will operate large tractors and will often be required to drive on the road between fields.

- Full tractor license is essential
- Significant experience in agricultural harvesting
- Proficiency in English to follow instructions and communicate effectively
- Hourly rate ranges from $28 to $32, depending on experience and labor demand
- Weather: Prepare to work in various weather conditions, including cold, rain, and mud.
- Hours: Shifts may start as early as 6 am and could extend late into the evening. Be prepared for potential night shifts, longer hours, weekend work, and work during public holidays.
- Training: On-site training will be provided to ensure you are well-prepared for the role.
- Competitive Pay: The wage range starts at $27 and may increase based on experience and demand.
